From Backyard Vines to Boutique Wines
We’re Carey and Anna Maria Bailey, the founders of Vista del Mirador Winery—or just Mirador Winery, as our friends call it. After a decade of home winemaking (and collecting plenty of ribbons), we turned our passion into a boutique winery nestled on our 60-acre estate in Somerset, CA. Since our first commercial vintage in 2017, we’ve been doing things the hands-on way—from tending our vines to crafting each bottle ourselves.

What’s in a Name?
When we couldn’t use our last name—Bailey was already trademarked—we found inspiration in the view. A gazebo sits above our pond, overlooking the land where Flat Creek flows. In Spanish, gazebo becomes mirador—“lookout.” One glance, and the name just felt right.
Rooted in Fair Play, AVA
Our vineyard sits at 2,100 feet in the Sierra Foothills’ Fair Play AVA, where decomposed granite soil, sunny days, and cool nights create perfect growing conditions. We farm over 20 acres, keep yields low, and let the terroir shine in every sip. With production capped at 500–600 cases annually, everything is done right here—by us, for you.
Stop By for a Sip
We’re open Friday - Sunday, 12:00 – 5:00 PM, or by appointment during the week (just give us a call—we’re usually around!). Come see the view, walk the vines, and enjoy the kind of wine that only comes from estate-grown care and small-lot attention.
Cheers,
Carey & Anna Maria
