Meet Flat Creek Vineyards

Our estate vineyard, lovingly known as Flat Creek Vineyards, is named for the creek that meanders through the property before heading off to the Consumnes River. Nestled on the south-facing slope of Mt. Aukum at 2,100 feet, this A+ site is where the magic begins—and yes, we’re just a little obsessed with it.

Our Estate Vineyard

Grapes Love It Here

With decomposed granite soil layered with clay and loam, the vines have ideal drainage and room to thrive. Combine that with warm, sunny days, cool mountain nights, and barely a whisper of wind, and you've got some of the happiest grapes in the Sierra Foothills.

Quality Over Quantity

We’re not in a rush or a race. We hand-farm our vines and keep yields low—just 2.5 to 3 tons per acre. That means fewer grapes, but better ones. Each cluster is full of bold flavor and the perfect balance of brix, pH, and TA—music to any winemaker’s ears.

A Winemaker’s Dream

Because we use our own estate-grown grapes for every bottle, we’re as picky in the vineyard as we are in the cellar. And it shows. Our fruit-forward style and balanced structure are a direct reflection of the love and labor poured into Flat Creek Vineyards.
